Joiner / Multi Skilled Operative

Position as follows:

- Primary skills required: Carpentry skills (Joist replacement, floor renewal, odd skirtings, kitchen units out and in)
- Other additional skills preferred (but not essential): Tiling, windows, bathroom fitting (not plumbing), minor brickwork.
- Status – Employed.
- Wage – £33,800 p/a plus overtime.
- Holidays – 28 days paid.
- Van and uniform provided.
- Must have current driving licence.
- Must be able to carry out work to schedule and specification.
- Previous experience of remedial treatments would be of benefit.

Damp & Timber Surveyor

Position as follows:

- Skills required: Experience in Dry Rot, Wet Rot, Woodworm, Damp & Condensation required.
- Status: Employed, full time.
- Wage: Negotiable dependent on experience.
- Hours: 8am til 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
- Holidays – paid (28 days pro-rata).
- Additional details: Company car, Pension, Company Uniform.

Experienced Building Labourer

Position as follows:

Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the preparation and cleaning of construction sites.
- Loading and unloading building materials and equipment from trucks.
- Operating power tools and machinery, as needed.
- Assisting skilled workers, such as Joiners, Electricians, Plasterers, Plumbers and Damp Technicians where needed.
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding and other temporary structures.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
- A valid, clean driver’s license for transportation to and from job sites.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Benefits:

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Working out of Cramlington depot.
Wage: £10.42 per hour.
Hours: 36 – Mon to Fri
Holidays – paid (28 days pro-rata).
Start Date: ASAP.

Plasterers

Position as follows:

- Status – Employed (would consider sub contract at higher day rate)
- Wage – £125/day, + bonus
- Holidays – 28 days paid + 2x annual bonus payments
- Van and uniform provided
- Must have current driving license
- Must be able to provide a good finish, be able to float (renovating plaster, we do not use sand/cement), dot’n’dab, skim.
- Must be able to leave clients properties in a clean and respectable state on completion of work.

Damp & Timber Technician

Position as follows:

- Previous experience of plaster removal, Damp proof injection, Timber treatments, Membrane installation, Timber floor removals, etc essential
- Status – Employed (would consider subcontract at higher day rate)
- Wage – £100/day, + bonus
- Holidays – 28 days paid+ 2x annual bonus payment
- Van and uniform provided
- Must have current driving license
- Must be able to carry out work to schedule and specification.
- Must be able to leave clients properties in a clean and respectable state on completion of work.

Telephonist / Telesales Operative

Position as follows:

- Hours – 4 hours per day, from 10am and 2pm
- Skills required; –
- Answering telephone, dealing with enquiries/directing calls/booking appointments. Telesales involves contacting existing and new clients, mainly tradespersons and materials orders, contacting new prospects and informing them of what we have available and prices.
- Status – Employed
- Wage – £10/hour, + bonuses
- Holidays – paid (28 days pro-rata) + 2x annual bonus payments

Bookkeeper

Position as follows:

- Based in Cramlington, Northumberland.
- Responsible for keeping records for our companies.
- Experience of Quickbooks required.
- The job will entail:
  - Data entry
  - Vat preparation
  - Checking quality of information received
  - Chasing up internally for any additional info requirements.
- Status – Employed.
- Wage – Negoitable depending on experience.
- Hours: 16 hours per week between Monday to Friday (to suit the applicant).
- Holidays – paid (28 days pro-rata)

Damp & Timber Surveyor

Position as follows:

- Skills required: Experience in Dry Rot, Wet Rot, Woodworm, Damp & Condensation required.

Multi Skilled General Hand

Position as follows:

- Skills preferred; – any combination of the following (does not need to be all of them);-
- Carpentry skills (Joist replacement, floor renewal, odd skirtings, kitchen units out and in), Brickwork (piecing up etc),
- Remove and refit radiators, Remove and refit socket fronts, install PPUs. Floor concrete and screeding.
- Status – Employed or would consider subcontract (at higher day rate)
- Wage £110/day, + bonus
- Holidays – 28 days paid + 2x annual bonus payment (for employed status)
- Van and uniform provided.
- Must have current driving licence
- Must be able to carry out work to schedule and specification.
- Must be able to leave clients properties in a clean and respectable state on completion of work.
- Previous experience of Damp proof injection, Timber treatments, floor removals etc essential

Trainee Surveyor

Position as follows:

- Primarily working in the North East from our depot in Cramlington
- To shadow Senior Surveyor and Technical Director to learn the surveying process and all about the property defects we deal with.
- You will also be required to follow a pre-set program of study, pass monthly tests (nothing too difficult, just enough to prove you are taking in the training) and to develop a full understanding of the courses of action available to combat the problems we deal with in many domestic, commercial and industrial properties in the area.
- We are offering a training allowance of £200 per week plus expenses while training.
- The training is expected to take up to a year, following which (if you are up to standard) you will be offered the chance to apply for a permanent position with OTE of £45k plus bonus plus a company car.
- The person we are looking for will be bright, friendly, enthusiastic with the ability to learn and understand the practical and written instructions given.
- We are not fixed on age or gender but the person will be required to climb ladders, fit in through tight spaces and will need to be reasonably fit and active and may get dirty.
- A full uniform will be supplied.
